Our Valentine's Day

Yesterday was Valentine's Day. Graycen and I
made cards. I made one for David and so did she. I also made a yellow cake - with no frosting - for David (it's his favorite cake.) With the left over cake batter, I threw in some cupcake liners and made some cupcakes with Valentine's sprinkles I bought last year. They were pretty cute and nummy!

He had to work until 2:30 and I had to be to work at 3:30. He came home and I left. Fun Valentine's Day, huh? I got home and the poor guy was sleeping. He fell asleep with Graycen. I don't blame him, honestly. Well, today on his way home from work, he stopped and bought me 2 dozen roses. I haven't gotten flowers on Valentine's Day from him in about 7 years. It made me have this perma-smile on my face. I looked like a big dork. He felt bad for yesterday and stopped today. *swoon*
I sure love that guy. He enjoyed our cake and cards that we made yesterday. How could he not?
