Works for me Wednesday - Ready to clean out your car - in an instant!

Do you ever have a little spare time while you're sitting in the car waiting for something? You know, someone, you're really early for an appointment or traffic?? I do a lot and while I am stuck waiting, I wish I could clean out my car but NEVER have a bag in the car to do it with. I thought of this a couple of days ago when I was in this situation. I came up with an easy solution (besides just keeping the car clean..)

If you use paper towels, when you're done with the roll, just take it and stuff it with some of the plastic bags you get from everywhere. Stick the roll under your car seat and you're set for next time! I suppose toilet paper rolls would work as well, you just can't fit as many bags in it.

That's what works for me this week! Want some more great tips? Head on over to Rocks In My Dryer for many more!

Great idea. I always gave my used paper towel rolls to DD for her gerbils, but they died of old age, so I was wondering what to do with them now. This will use at least one!

This is a great idea! I have the same problem, & with 2 small kids, it's easy for the car trash to get out of control. Thanks for the tip!

Brilliant. In fact, I've got some really long tubing from a carpet roll or some such thing ~ I cut that in smaller pieces and use it!

Great idea!
It makes me think ..... I usually keep a partially used roll of paper towels in the car in case of spills or to wipe foggy windows ; I could put some bags inside the roll and always have them ready (even to throw away the dirty towels from cleanin up the spill!)

This is really a wonderful idea. I'm always wishing I had a bag in the car.

Great idea! I'm so going to do this! My friends will wonder how my car stays so clean ... once I actually get it clean, that is.
