Wow!

That is the best word to sum up how I feel right now! Tonight Steph surprised us with.....

A BRAND NEW DOUBLE STROLLER!!

You can't believe it? Yeah, neither can I! What an awesome friend, huh?
About a week or so ago we were talking about me buying a double stroller and how it wouldn't happen right now since I have been on unpaid maternity leave for the last 4/5 weeks and it just wasn't going to happen right now. She asked if I had one in mind, of course I did.. I told her which one it was (she thought I knew at that point, but I didn't. I just thought she was expressing a genuine interest in which one I was wanting to purchase) - which is this one. I really wanted this one but it doesn't fit into the trunk of a car so it's kinda out of the picture.
Fast forward to tonight - Steph calls around 8:00 pm asking if we are going to be home because she wants to drop something off. OK, cool. Then she asks if David is home because she might need his help carrying it since she had Hailey. Now at this point, she definitely thought I knew. Well, I didn't. She got here and David went out to get it. According to him, when she opened the back hatch, his reaction was "Get the fff. Get out of here" He said he minded the language because of Hailey. He was in disbelief, too.
After they left, we put it together. I would say it didn't even take 20 minutes. It was so easy. Once it was all assembled, I put Graycen in (yes, she was still awake after a long day with no nap - this is a whole other story in and of itself.) and put the car seat in to see how it worked. It looked beautiful. The waterworks started. All I could think was how generous this was of Steph. I have only had one other friend in my life that has ever done anything so generous for me. A few years back, I had a friend, Kari, who paid $200 towards my wedding dress. It was part of my wedding gift from her. Her reasoning behind it was "Because you're my friend." This situation reminded me a lot of that situation. When I said to Steph "I don't even know what to say." She replied with "Just say thank you." I felt like it deserved a lot more than just 'Thank You'

So - from the bottom of my heart, thank you Stephanie.

That is so sweet! I started crying too. I wish I was able to do generous things like that for my friends.
