sad

That's the best word to describe how I am feeling right now. Tonight is the first night that we have put Graycen to sleep in her toddler bed, in her room. It's such a bittersweet feeling - I'm happy because she went down extremely well *knock on wood* and that she is in her own room, but I am sad thinking about her no longer sleeping on her mattress in our room. I will miss her little breath and her hand brushing my arm when she 'needs' me in the middle of night...tear :( BUT - I won't miss having to tip-toe around my own room and hoping I don't need anything out of there once she is asleep.
Once I put all of her bedding in there today, she went right into her room, plopped up on the bed, laid her little head on her pillow, covered herself up and said "night night" She knows what the bed is for and I think her having her own significant little bedding made her understand it is her bed. When we went in to bed tonight, I had our bedroom door closed to see what she would do and she went right into her room and climbed up in her bed. This makes me think she likes it!
Here's to hoping all goes well and she enjoys sleeping in her bed!

How sweet is my little Dolly. When and if you can, please take a picture for me. It is a sad feeling when they do things on their own. But things may turn around when Parker comes into your lives. Good luck. Sometimes it starts off good, then things change. Just take it a day at a time, that is all you can ask for.
Love Ya.

*Hugs* to you. I remember when we moved our little man to his own room. It was a necessary adjustment, and a good one in the end, but it's so hard not having them so nearby.
