"Is she here for her 6 month checkup?"

So, we went to the doctor yesterday for Graycie's 4 month well-baby visit (and shots - ish) When she weighed in at 17lbs 5oz, the nurse said "is she here for her 6 month checkup?" - "uh, no, 4 month" - "wow, she's so big..i bet she's off the chart!" Sure enough, checked the chart, she is off of it! My little girl isn't so little. She is in the 75th percentile for her height and off the chart for weight. Dr says there is no need to worry, even though she is off the chart, she is still gaining at a good pace, right with the curve, just above it. She did so well with her shots - cried for maybe a minute and then she was done crying. Now we go back in 2 months for her 6 month..can't believe she is getting so old already! She pretty much skipped the 3-6mo. clothes and went right to 6-9mo. clothes!

That's funny! Daniel's a big boy, too. I'll be surprised if he doesn't weigh at least 16 pounds (or more) at his 4-month checkup this week.

Just out of curiosity, are you breastfeeding Graycen?

Yeah..isn't it crazy how big they get? No, I am not breastfeeding anymore. My supply decreased after we started supplementing with formula also. When we were first in the hospital she couldn't latch on and then 3 days later, we got it..so we were doing both, then went strictly to the breast, then my supply just wasn't keeping up to her needs, so we re-introduced formula, now I am doing just formula.
