** The other day, I was talking to ma. She was telling me about how she was getting ready for black Friday by perusing the ads and printing out pictures of everything she wants to buy and putting the pictures in an envelope for each store. Immediately I thought it was a great idea and told her she should do a WFMW but she said, "You can go ahead and do it." So, I am posting this for her. I thought it was a great idea that just might help out AT LEAST one person!
** Unfortunately, I am unable to participate in the black Friday shopping this year. We just don't have the money. There are other things, more important things, that we are saving for this year. We were able to get Christmas presents for Graycen and Parker and that's it. Small year. Oh well, that's not the topic of this post!
I wanted to let you all in (well, those of you that aren't aware) on a secret. You can look at the ads for black Friday today! Go here to see them. The stores are on the left hand side. If you want to look at a picture of what the ad is listing, click on the camera.
Hope I could help someone! To see more awesome posts, head on over to Rocks in My Dryer.

Hi Kristine,
Thanks for the Black Friday ad listings, I'm a Black Friday shopper, I got a interesting Black Friday guide at Retrevo - you might want to check out the Black Friday deals ads of Circuit City, Sears, Best Buy, Kmart and Walmart before heading to any of those stores. Check out the guide here - http://www.retrevo.com/content/special-reports/2008/11/black-friday-coming-early-year
Happy Holidays!
Thanks for the link! I am so excited for Friday. It is my favorite day of the year, although I buy mostly for myself :) I already have most of my Christmas shopping done.
Here's another black Friday site: http://www.blackfriday.info/ We're going out of town, so I'm probably out of the running, too.
Wow, I had no idea there were websites devoted to Black Friday!! I'll be skipping it myself, but it looks like there are some good deals to be had! (Personally, Kristine, I think you're wise to skip it too - I can't imagine navigating those crowds with 2 little ones!) :)
emily - that is great that you're already have most of your shopping done. I think that would almost make the pressure of that day go away since you're kind of just out for yourself then.
Oh Liz, I totally wouldn't bring the kids. I went one year and brought just Graycen but she was just 3 months old so it was doable.
I hear you on the no money thing...
