Just last week I thought of a way to reuse the plastic bags your newspaper is delivered in and the ones your loaves of bread are packaged in. Since we don't have a diaper genie or a separate trash can for diapers around here, sometimes you have really, really stinky ones to toss. Our trash goes out every other day, if not every day, but still. I don't want the stink lingering on throughout here.
When I had my first baby shower for Graycen, someone had bought me a couple of rolls of little scented, blue bags for putting your diapers in to toss them. I always had them in the diaper bag and made sure to use them when I was at someone else's house or on the go. I remembered this one day when I was tossing the bag from the newspaper in the trash can. I put one bag under the sink in the kitchen and have since started stashing them in that bag. When we have an icky diaper (or wet, peed on clothes from one of the kids I watch) I stick it in the bag and toss it! It keeps my kitchen from smelling like dirty diapers and that's works for me!

What a good idea! I was walking in a parade a few weekends ago up here, and a family was using bread bags to put their candy in--I thought that was very resourceful!!
Those are great ideas. We usually use the plastic grocery bags that we get. We live in an apartment where smells stay forever, so when there's a messy diaper, we immediately bag it and take it out to the trash bin.
Great "recycle" idea!
Great idea. I take the toilet paper rolls and stuff these bags into there so that they don't get all over my kitchen.
We have our son use those kinds of bags for dog duty pick up :)
Works for me too!
Love it!!! Now, what can we use to store the bags that is compact and fits in our diaper bags? That would make this perfect!
I'm storing my bread bags... Thanks again for the great idea.
